how to move forward being the loser of the family?

Weddings, gatherings etc are a humiliation ritual , and I can’t catch up to my siblings.
>>
Stop being the loser? Just do something with your life.
>>
At least you get invited to weddings. My two best friends growing up did not invite me, and the two cousins I have that got married did not invite me.

That's genetic

They're assholes

Same. I live with my parents, and I dread any family function. It’s gotten to the point where they don’t ask or expect me to participate anymore. It feels awful.

What do you do for a living? What does your family and siblings do for a living?

Could always go back to school for a career change if you really want.

Why is that every blade runner pic is a shit larp projecting

I just don't go to family gatherings that aren't for close family (siblings/parents). Saves a lot of time and I never enjoyed those anyway.

Stop measuring yourself by THEIR standards. As long as you are thinking "No, I didn't get a massive promotion like you did" you will feel a loser. Measure yourself against yourself last yearl "I quit that awful job andI'm much happier even if I'm making less" is a statement of success, not failure.

I feel the same both for family and friend gatherings.
I'm ashamed of my situation. I don't like having to answer to their questions, and either having to lie or to try and change the subject.
I'm distancing myself from them more and more, as I try to avoid it all. Not because I don't like them, but because of shame, though I believe they migh think it is the former.

Yeah man, that is rough. Unless they both had a super private wedding with just them and their partners, that's really lame.

I would've a long time ago already, if my country allowed it, but it only allows young people to join (up to like 22 years maximum)
