How can I relate to other human beings in a decent way?
Please explain it to me as if you were talking to a 6-year-old child, be very clear and specific. I don't know how to talk to other people and I would like to learn how.

your responses to ones statement need to contain some element of the previous part(s) of the dialogue, for the most part. when someone says something, think about how it relates to YOU (a much easier task) and if the person is able to do the same your conversation is bound to converge to some shared belief

what i do is try to find how the persons statement might try to make a broader metastatement about themselves, and try to work out how it might relate (or clash) with my own beliefs. maybe even bait them into opening up more, because thats all that we really want to do
