I have extreme chronic fatigue which is unexplained. I feel weak and tired all day despite getting a full night's sleep. I thought it was just my sleep apnea, which is quite bad, but I'm treating it with a CPAP machine that's recording a low number of hypopneas per night so my sleep doctor says he doesn't think it's related to why I keep waking up so insanely tired. And when I say "tired", I mean as in literally feeling like I've stayed up all night, doing basic things resulting in my eyes watering and burning and focusing making my head feel strained as if I've stayed up all night cramming for an exam or something, even though I should be well rested. It even affects my balance. And because of this I have felt too tired to exercise, do any cardio or weight training, causing me to get less and less healthy and the fatigue to get worse and worse, to the point where it's seriously negatively affecting my mental acuity. I'm not really sure what to do, don't really have anyone to talk to about it and just feel too exhausted every day to get the things I need to do done.

Long Covid?

Maybe, but I also have this weirdly busted neck that's always tight in certain places no matter how much I stretch it, and I've noticed that the more relaxed it is the less tired I feel during the day, almost as if it's cutting off bloodflow to my brain or something. I also get tired and dizzy and feel sleepy after drinking caffeine, which I haven't read about anywhere online as a symptom of caffeine side effects

You need to get your living space tested for both carbon monoxide and black mold. Carbon monoxide sooner rather than later as it can cause memory loss.
Black mold infection in your air conditioning or ductwork can have nasty respiratory symptoms over time. Which the CPAP machine won't be able to overcome.
> It even affects my balance.
Severe sinus inflammation from allergies or an ear infection can do that. I got sand in my ear on my honeymoon and I couldn't keep myself upright and any amount of rotation would have a continued sensation for a few seconds after I had stopped moving.

hahahahahaha most anyone that claims they have this is an absolutely nutjob; this is usually the batshit EDS/MCAS/POTS/chronic fatigue crowd too

Yes, I have EDS/POTS/CCI/CFS. How is it batshit? You are human excrement.
>>
>>34502650
it's batshit and you can easily read and access any amount of scientific literature about the prevalence of factitious disorder / malingering in patients that claim to have this exact combination of poorly defined disorders. anyway pots is manageable with lifestyle; true eds is a genetic disease and many "patients" lack the actual genetic markers for it to the extent that geneticists rheumatologists had to begin to outright refuse new eds and mcas referrals. it's well documented and a new phenomenon within the last few years

> poorly defined disorders.
EDS and POTS are extremely well defined.
For example: https://www.ehlers-danlos.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/hEDS-Dx-Criteria-checklist-1.pdf
Not all types of EDS have known genetic markers (hEDS), however the symptoms above are clear and objective and not possible to fake.
MCAS, CCI may be more difficult to diagnose, and CFS is more subjective. However, they are extremely debilitating.
The fact that many people are liars and scammers does not mean that the disorders are fake.
>geneticists rheumatologists had to begin to outright refuse new referrals.
Yes, doctors are assholes; this also is in need of a new diagnosis (ADD, Asshole Doctor Disorder).

if i see a patient on my day list with any of these i KNOW the visit is going to be 40 fucking minutes long for a problem they do not anatomically have and they're usually on copious amounts of redundant psych meds (think 2
antidepressants, and like 30 mg of Adderall lol) so they just fucking yell at you the whole time. I'm depressed just thinking about it

Consider becoming a surgeon instead. We should encourage and redirect all unempathetic, sadistic, and psychopathic docTURDs to become surgeons instead.

It's hypnotically possible for someone to have idiopathic fatigue. So honestly enormous should still be done to see if there's an explainable cause. My aunt claims to have it. But when looking closer she has a demanding job and a very busy home life. She never actually gets any rest. So what she's calling chronic fatigue looks to me more like an explainable circumstance.

But whatever. I've found a lot of doctors actually resent their patients or even just don't like them at all. Like we're problems in their day and not people. Which is weird, because 20-30 years ago I don't remember doctors being so jaded.
