I am a NEET who lives at home with my mother at age 37. I have recently been finding strange hints from my mom that I should kill myself. She will leave a noose out on the bed, that was apparently for a 'scarecrow' costume. She has left an open gun on the kitchen table. When I examined the gun, I find it's a fake gun, but the message was loud and clear. Last thing she was talking on the phone to her friend and shouted "I hope he fucking kills himself!" I can't decide if she was talking about me or about her boss. But because it was to her worker friend I can't be sure. She was also watching crime shows about a killer, and she was emphasizing the 'final meal'. After which she asked me if I want her to get KFC tonight, implying this would be 'my' final meal. Am I picking up on something real or am I imagining it? Does my mother want me to kill myself for being a 37 year old NEET who lives at home?
