How do I live life knowing I'm locked into a stiff corpo grind from 9 to 5 until I'm 65?My salary is over 100k so it seems like the world should be my oyster. Yet it is not.I already feel old, I've had my first dental crown recently. I will still be living w/ my folks since my workplace is literally like within an hour of the suburb I grew up in.

>>34507276Welcome to adulthood. It's not the big party of freedom and fun that you imagined it to be as a child stuck under your parents' thumb. It's a dreary grind with the occasional escape to a tropical beach or a birthday party.BTW I dropped out of college for the same reason, the career life seemed completely devoid of purpose or appeal. Now a decade later I'm a vagabond sitting in a cheap hotel in a Himalayan village, no job no car no house no gf no buddies, nothing but a few thousand dollars of savings.
>>34507276good salary and tiny living expenses? my steak is too buttery etc etcstart investing most of your salary and do FIRE then you don't have to "slave until 65" you're in the prime position for it

My advice is to reconnect to your spirituality. Turn off the distractions and let your mind rest. The answers you are looking for are all already inside of your subconscious.
