What do you do when you see a bear? >Do you try to kill it?Let's say you are unarmed. >What if the bear doesn't actually want to kill you? >What if your wife and kids are with you? >Do you try to kill the bear?>Do you apologize to the bear? >What if the bear kills you? >Do you walk away slowly and tell the bear you meant no harm? >Do you run? >How do you know it is not a peaceful bear? How do you tell peaceful bears from dangerous bears? >Do you feel stupid for accidentally walking near the bear's territory?>Should you have treated the bear like a dangerous creature from the start? >What did our ancestors do when they saw a bear? >Did they feel guilty for encroaching upon their habitat? >Did they wonder about the socio-economic issues that have shaped bear behavior? >Did they wonder if all bears were dangerous, or just some? >Are there good bears as well?
>>34507382Sing, stretch your arms and shoulders a bit, move whichever way down hill is, weave tightly around any obstacles in the hopes that bear may poke or bump itself. Skip down hill so you are less likely to panic and fall. Bear has most difficult but still faster than the average bear time going down hill as their weight is all forward. Like doing pushups, they may stumble going fast. If you have to fight, find a branch to brace in the ground, crouch near the base, keep it pointed like a long spear angled in the ground so it may be frustrated. You can pivot when it must orbit in a wide circle to try to get you.

>>34507382>What do you do when you see a bear?>Do you try to kill it?Yes. A bear that's lost its fear of humans is a threat and should be shot. It's sad to think about, but that's just how it is.>Let's say you are unarmed...Then I try to GTFO.t. leaf
>>34507382If you are with someone else, remember that you do not have to run faster than the bear. You just have to run faster than the other person.
