I'll keep it short.Family mimber is manipulating grandmother who is in mental decline into signing legal document or at least trying.This family mimber is the primary care giver as they are the only one that lives locally, they do a poor job of it and only want the house. She has decided to start isolating our grandmother from a larger support network through rumors and innuendo. Current set up is a trust that insures no singular ownership, this is best as it is the family home. Open hostility is bad as there is no current plan to replace the mixed care given by the shitty family mimber. Lack of action is bad because it allows manipulation to continue. All everyone else want is for our grandmother to stay at home hopefully untill the end should conditions allow.What can we do here?

We just know that it is what the family mimber is after and why they are not acting in our grandmothers best interest. All the isolation stims from her wanting it and keeping other from having "influence" that is getting her out of the house for day trips.I am thinking I go full wizard and lay out the evils being whispered in her ear. But that doesn't solve for the long term care problem.

Now everything is accelerating and the care taker is using our grandmothers money to pay for the legal actions.It's shitty because we know she will only provide the minimum care needed to not be thrown out.
