Hello, looking for some honest advice. So, I don't think buying a 100% pure helium tank will be easy, so I had the idea of just using a charcoal grill inside a garage. Charcoal releases CO and it wouldn't vent easily so it would displace the O2 and make it painless I believe. I don't think a fire would start, but I suppose that could be a possibility? I wouldn't want to burn the house down. I could then have a scheduled text sent for EMS to come pick me up later. Any issues you guys see with this idea?
>>34509440This is funny, but I'm not a burden to anyone. I'm not sad, angry, or upset about anything. I'm just tired.
be creativemake it look like a murder(bonus) go to the local cops beforehand and tell them you've been threatened by people who made your life miserable
My buddy in highschool killed himself with a charcoal grill. His sister found his body. Seeing his parents bawling at the wake is gonna stick with me the rest of my life. Dont do it anon.
>>34509525I haven't heard of people killing themselves this way, which is why I ask. But I just found a Wikipedia article on it, meaning it must be common enough. So this is a stupid thread, I should have done more research. So I guess another question I would have is how long I should wait before having a text sent. Being revived and becoming a vegetable would be really bad. Again, I'm also really worried about a fire happening. And yeah, I can imagine that to be pretty traumatizing, especially since it was a family member that found them. It must feel horrible to lose your child as a parent, which does make me feel bad. I do hope that my own parents won't be too hurt.Anyway, I guess I haven't committed to anything yet. Just seriously considering. It's still a few weeks away from when it'll be optimal to do it, so it's anyone's guess how my brain will feel by then.
>>34509426That's retarded.People use helium because it's not noticable.CO2 is noticable.Smoke is extremely noticable.Find something else.
>>34509620Would it produce smoke though? Usually it stops after you first initially light it, doesn't it?And please, if you have any other suggestions, let me know.
>>34509620And you are correct that CO2 is released, but it seems like it's mostly CO. So would that still make it painless?
>>34509426This is a really effective way to leave yourself alive but permanently brain damaged. Also, if the space isn't vented, what's going to happen to the person who finds you and tries to help? (If it is vented, you'll gas the whole house). And yes, there's a major risk of fire. Burning to death is not a nice way to go.
>>34510237What do you mean? How would this leave me alive? Wouldn't several hours in an environment such as described kill someone? And that's what the text is for. One so that EMS can pick me up before family finds me but also warn them of the space so they know what's happening and can properly prepare for it. And I was hoping only the garage would be affected, not the whole house. As for fire, I'm not worried about me burning, more so I'm worried of a fire destroying the house.
>>34509426Dont kill yourself retard But if you must don't waste helium it's too useful to be wasted. Use nitrogen canisters they are used for welding and brewing
>>34510556As I said, helium wasn't going to be an option anyway. It looks like purchasing nitrogen has the same problem though. Unless you can point me to a source for sells pure nitrogen that doesn't require me to make an industrial business Still though, it seems easier to just use the charcoal as I suggested.
>>34510556Nitrogen doesn't look pretty going out either. Look at the Alabama executions, they're strapped to the gurney and as soon as the gas gets turned on they're shaking, gasping and flopping around like a fish.
