I’ve also pulled some hot gfs in real life but do not do well on dating apps. Dating apps are “hot or not.” If you’re not hot, then you’ll do much worse and then there’s cope like the algorithm, when people are active etc etc. you’re better off meeting people in real life even though it’s much more effort for similarly low return. Go to events, go to hobby groups, go to cool venues, meet friends of friends.

Idk what the price is for these apps these days, but I used the premium it for a summer like 10 years ago and got like 800 matches, went out with 7 girls and had some good sex. Free version I didn't get jack shit, but with the unlimited likes and view boosts they started pouring in. I would just swipe right on everyone without looking while I watched tv or whatever, even had some third party apps that apparently mass right-swiped for you in the background. Got a ton of matches, only talked to the girls I found attractive. It worked fine at the time. Dunno what it's like now.
