Dating apps are hell for men. My advice is to not get emotionally involved in it at all. I have 2 mirror selfies, a few rugby pictures, and a picture with friends. I get a match once a month if im lucky. Some dudes recommend getting a professional pictures done but idk that just seems corny to me.

Picture 1. Action Man! If you are white collar, get a laptop bag or something and where some office attire. You want the shot looking slightly upward to make you look larger than life. You want to be walking somewhere, with a purpose, like you got someplace to fucking be. If your blue collar change out the laptop bag and collared shirt for carhart shit or whatever.

Picture 2. Friendly Man! Just a nice portrait style photo of you sitting on a stoop or park bench, smiling, looking directly into the camera. Relaxed, approachable.

Picture 3. Social Man! Just a picture of you hanging out with other people having a good time.

Picture 4. Fitness Man! DO NOT use a gym bathroom selfie. That is asking for a left swipe. You’re trying to show off the goods here without looking like a narcissist. Somewhere outdoors like a park or beach or something and your playing a sport in a tank top and shorts.

No bathroom selfies. No pictures of you holding a fish. You need to be snapping a good couple dozen of each of these shots, don’t half ass it, because it takes multiple shots to get the one.

Is this insincere? Yes. Is it engineered? Yes. Do women know these photos are likely staged? Yes. Does it work anyways? Yes.

If you are a fat broke wagie working retail or McDonalds, dating apps are not for you and you will likely fail. I’m 6’2, I make $175k a year, nice hair, 15% body fat and I lift. Even I have to do this stupid shit to get any success on dating apps and EVEN THEN it’s still hit or miss. I am your competitor. So keep that in mind when jumping into this.

It’s not. It’s the game. The advertisement industry focuses on women almost exclusively because they spend all the money. They hire teams of PhDs and experts to figure out what’s appealing and what will get women to buy a product. Your app profile is an advertisement. Think of an ad in a magazine. A woman flipping through will maybe spend 2-5 seconds looking at that ad before turning the page. That is exactly how dating apps work from a male perspective. YOU are the product. The women looking at those ads know, in their brain, that they are looking at an ad intended to get them to buy something. They know it. But guess what? It works anyways! It’s a billion dollar industry and they wouldn’t keep doing it if it didn’t work. Yes it is corny as fuck. But that’s why most guys don’t have success on apps, it goes against most men’s sense of sincerity.
