Thinking about trying my chances on tinder or other dating app soon. I think i am decent looking but not "hot" tier. How feasible it is to actually find a date/one night stand on those? I don't really want a long term relationship. And if not apps, what are some other options for finding DTF girls?

I got all the 6’s (6’+ tall, 6 figure income, 6 pack abs, 6”+ dick) and even I struggle to match with anyone who isn’t a fat single mom. Most girls use dating apps the way dudes use 4chan. It’s just a parasocial friend simulator they use to collect messages and compliments. Locking down an actual date is hard. If you do it, make sure you prioritize meeting in person for a date as soon as possible. Do not spend a bunch of time messaging back and forth. Because the moment you meet in person all that bullshit you were messaging goes out the window and you finally become “real” to her and not just a voice in the dark.

I never thought of that comparison but yeah that hits the nail right on the head. regardless of what they put on their profiles, what they say to you, most women on dating apps are truthfully not invested in it at all and are just there for the entertainment. If you want any kind of success you have to get them to meet in person ASAP and even then they will probably still ghost you (even if the date went really well).

some things you'll notice from real people and not bots:
>almost no one within 15 miles will ever match with you unless you are clearly from out of town, thats because they dont want to chance running into someone they ghosted
>"Open to seeing where things go" means they are looking for a temporary fix of some kind until something better comes along. If you really hit off with someone who has that as their dating intentions they are 110% using you as a backup in case they get dumped by the person they are actually interested in

Joined Tinder in 2018, talked to a few girls and eventually went on a date with one I liked enough to pay for dinner for. One single dating app date... She's my wife now.

If you have value to offer in sharing your life, you'll do fine.
