I know this sounds banal, but it really gets to me that while I spend so much time gaming, I suck ass at it.I play like dogshit and lose constantly in every kind of multiplayer game that exists. And people that have less time or started recently are already better than me. Irl friend group even says that I'm dogshit and I can't even argue because it's true. And it pisses me off that there's not a single game where I'm better than them or anyone else.It really hurts my ego to see that I'm not just inferior in real life, even digitally I get stomped. This is basically a rant post, but I just can't get over it. Sometimes I wonder if I'm fucking handicapped. I play hours a day, it's my only real hobby. And yet I lose to casuals that don't even try.
>>34513853Get better IRL and then it won't matter so much. Do other stuff. The reason you are so upset is because this is all you have, so when you improve (and you WILL, no doomer shit) your non-digital life you will not feel as bad.
If you're playing a bunch of different games it makes sense that you'll never significantly improve at any of them. Pick one game to specialize in, focus on improving there and your increased skill will transfer to other similar games. You should be able to figure out how to improve at a specific game by whatever guides are available and watching how better players play. Join a team if possible and try to always play a little above your skill level.
Play a single player game. Slay the spire is pretty good.
