I want to switch from gym to bouldering because I have developed a real passion for the sport. However, this will obviously change my body, I'll probably even lose some muscle and move towards a body like picrelated.Do you think this will negatively impact my chances of getting a girlfriend? Do girls find climbers attractive?

>>34518605A good physique won't really affect your dating ability, it just gets your foot in the door. Women care about social status way more. You can be jacked but the skinny climbing instructor will get more women than you because he's the instructor.
>>34518605did you know you can climb and also lift weights? I have to do both AND calisthenics for the mental. just do bouldering if you like it. The best chance at developing and maintaining relationships is to work on your self-esteem and personality.
>>34518689I do both but bouldering obviously takes away time that I could spend on pure hypertrophy work. Right now I go bouldering 3x a week for 2 hours each. At the last session I would do 1 hour of easy bouldering and then 1 hour of lifting, especially for legs.I am sure I will still lose muscle though or at least won't get jacked this way. No girl has ever found me attractive, I am a horribly ugly guy but now that I am switching to bouldering, I won't get the body that girls desire.
