I am 23 years old, I have 13 GCSE grades (B/Cs), I self-funded two college diplomas (basically harassed out of college so did it online), and have worked since I was a 10 year old kid. The job market is so bad, I can only manage to get part-time work, and it's all minimum wage. I can't even work two part-time jobs since they want you to be fully available to work an 8 hour contract. I have been rejected from retail, cleaning, laundrettes even though I worked all of these jobs as a kid. Currently I work as a housekeeper in a hotel and do manual labour on the side. What do you do? I was thinking of getting a COMPTIA+ qualification, since even if AI takes over code then surely they still need people to build computers right? Is it over?
>>34518837>What do you do?NEET currently. I'd rather be dead than work full time, no idea how normies do it
>>34518882If I could afford to NEET I would, but it just isn't viable. I even tried an apprenticeship but the company flunked and they're extremely difficult to come across much like internships/trainee positions.
>>34518837Job market in britbongland is certifiably cooked man. I quit my shitty minimum wage blatantly exploitative CS job 6 months back, immediately felt how awful the job market is when looking for employment again. I actually moved out of the major city I lived in and moved back to my home town, and got a job nearly immediately - mind you the hours are extremely shitty and no where near enough to sustain my life. I'm currently at uni doing a creative course which actually seems to be a good Strat since traditional jobs are haemorrhaging here, but atm I'm close to dropping out due to failing.
>>34518837find a retail job, bounce around homeless shelters or live in your car, work on COMPTIA and make projects in your spare time, start emailing volunteer orgs or non-profits if you can help with anything
