>>34524699Difficult to tell when we can't see the whole face. But you maybe cut a little too high on the sides. Just wait a week and it looks a little better. That what I do when I fuck up my hair. But I have been cutting my own hair for the last 3 years. Saved me some fucking money, but most importantly the shitty time waiting at the barber. Here a little rundown on how I do it: About 7 mm on the sidesAbout 30 mm on the topCompletely short on the beard up the part where your head-hair begins. Put your fingers on the spots and look in the mirror. If your fingers are uneven, even it out. The fingers help you to see how high you cut on each side. Zero on my neck. Take you one hand and feel where your hair begins. Make something similar to a guiding line with some fingers and cut the other stuff with your other hand. When cutting the sides, rather take off less. I always end with my hair on the sides being overshadowed by the longer hair on top. The "top hair" still is somewhat parallel to the floor. Then I use about 20 mm to cut that down too. Make the transition from sides to top a little smoother. Might still look weird in the evening. But after a shower and sleep, it looks better in the morning. Take a scissor and cut the stuff above your ear. It is sometimes hard to cut. Don't cut anything below 5 mm on your own. You might cope yourself with "it looks good on me" and "it is far easier to maintain", but in the end it will look strange on 95 % of the people. The more hair you have, the more errors you can make. If everything is cut short, every little failure will stand out.
