Could someone please explain to me all signs of interest that women show, like to a 5-year old? For example, if I'm on public transport (I'm yuropoor so its a viable form of commuting), and I see a girl I've never seen before and when I look at her, she looks at me for a split second, then looks elsewhere and then I look elsewhere but I look at her again after couple of seconds and she looks at me again and we keep exchanging for a minute those glances does that mean anything? Nothing more, no smile, no changing position, coming closer. Or if she locks eyes for a long time? Like almost a second? Or you catch some stranger looking at you? I swear I have these kind of situations happen to me once a month and it always pains me that I've missed an opportunity that might never happen again.What about women that are your acquaintances? Is there a way to tell one of them likes you or is interested in dating you? I'm never really sure but I prefer to do nothing in fear of embarassing myself.

If a girl you know goes out of her way to chat with you, ask you questions, sit with you, etc, you can deduce that at the very least she enjoys your company or wants more of it as a friend. What happens after that is up to you. Even in the 21st century she is unlikely to ask you out. If a girl is friendly and you want more, be friendly back. Make your company enjoyable. Next time you go and sit with her. At some point ask her out.

Then maybe ask if they're a student, what they're studying, etc. Their hobbies.And then build off those questions to ask more questions and continue the conversation.

She'll go out of her way to talk to you, she'll laugh at your jokes, she'll look at you when she laughs at something someone else says, she'll do corny shit to interact with you like a smitten middle schooler would. If you and a girl are both attracted to each other to that degree, you'll basically snap together like magnets before you even know what's going on. This is rare though, and won't show up from women you don't know except maybe receiving a particularly bright smile from a cashier or something. Generally you just have to make an effort to get to know her better and just be friendly and as long as you don't get negative or avoidant responses you can be more and more direct.For the girl on the bus, there isn't much you can do from a single meeting like that unless you're bold enough to just go talk to her. Maybe she has a boyfriend and just finds you attractive and is indulging in looking. But if you ever saw her again (you could try to ride the bus at the same time to try and overlap) and it happens a second time I would definitely go talk to her
