Okay, anons. I was on a walk and walked by a dumpster. Next to it was an old (from what I found out, probably 90's B&W) CRT monitor (kind of picrel). It was on a table. Absolutely caked with dust, as if someone just cleaned their basement. It's got a VGA cable (I do have a port for it), but mot sure if I have a cable to power it. Normally, I'd take it clean it, check it, but my problem is that recently it rained for two days (light rain, but still rain), and I don't know if it's safe to test or touch. I'm scared to even attempt to open it in fear of tha tube exploding. I'm told to leave it, but also told to take it, since it rained, BUT it's caked in dust. What should I do here?
Forgot to add, no rust on either the VGA or power socket. Just full of dust (I don't know what it looks like inside).
>>34531125Take it, put it in a dry place for a few days while you gather the parts to clean and repair it. It should be fine. Water shouldn't pose a problem so long as it's dry by the tike you power it on
