23M here, will be 24 in less than a month. My life is going well, I graduated college, am making six figures now, am in the best shape of my life, and have started to dedicate more time to hobbies and start new ones. The thing is, I don't really know how to date, or when I should start seriously looking to find a girl that could be my future wife. I have technically dated before, but it was all through dating apps, and I don't have a ton of faith in those for finding a wife. I also feel that a woman right now just wouldn't do all that much for me. I fell that she'd mostly take time away from my work and hobbies, as well as cost me a lot of money. Advice?

Be yourself and put yourself out there and give her a firm handshake

It doesn't seem like a gf is what you even want right now, so why are you asking? You're young and you've got plenty of time, just focus on whatever it is that you actually wanna do.

True, but I can also recognize that with every passing year the quality and size of my available dating pool is declining. I'm a religious guy, and in those circles women, especially good, attractive, and sweet women get married young. I just don't want to get left behind is all, I don't want to find myself at 34, single, deciding on whether I want to date a single mom divorcee, or a fucked up 22 year old with daddy issues.

Ah, I see where you're coming from now. I guess the part about the declining dating pool applies to everyone on some level but even more drastically to you if you're only looking to date within a particular group or are living in a small town, for example. I guess it never hurts to be proactive, get to know new people and see where things go, but don't go committing to someone if your heart isn't in it because that'll come back and bite you in the ass somewhere down the line.
