Is saving up money from a pressure washer job to pay for code school good advice?
>>34532764No lol, it was great advice about 10-12 years ago though
>>34532764Dave Ramsey is literally one of the dumbest men alive and should never be listened to about finance for any reason
>>34532764Absolutely not. Coding is in shambles. "Coding schools" are web development schools, and most of the shit is automated with frameworks, the focus of the work is enterprise and that market is already covered by big business firms with more marketing than that you could pay. You're essentially becoming another white collar worker earning the same as the pressure washer.Dunno, everything is bleak anyways these days. You have to be in a special mindset and know the right people to be successful, not impossible but more than is in most people's hands. Just become a healthcare technician instead, at least moving people and being paid by insurance is not something AI is gonna take away (robotics will lel).
>>34532764Saving up for school is a good idea. It’s definitely better than power washing for the rest of your life. But only go for computer science if you really enjoy it. Don’t just do it for the money or you will be miserable. There are plenty of other careers that are satisfying and are better than power washing.
