Well here goes nothing... Fuck.So about a week ago I was browsing X (formerly Twitter) for porn, as one often does, using inconspicuous terms like #nsfw, #anal, etc. when I stumbled upon some clearly illegal shit. Then I looked at some of the hashtags associated with it (that I won't repeat here) and holy shit, there's a lot of illegal content on there. Like more than what 4chan probably had 20 years ago. So I reported as much as I could, apparently you're limited to only 15 reports at a time, and got a message that I would be notified if anything happened... Well not only has nothing happened but those same users and tags are still up.So should I even bother reporting anything or leave it all the fuck alone and don't put myself at risk more than I already did? FBI, if you're reading this post please don't blow up my fucking apartment. I had no idea what it was until I found it - and I GOD DAMN for sure ain't saving shit. Pic semi-related right now.
>>34537134Have you tried the Internet Watch Foundation?
>>34537203Never heard of it. Is this a UK only site?
>>34537203Well gave them a link and description so... we'll see what happens in a week I guess.
>Goes hunting for porn>Complains when he finds it.
>>34537241LEGAL porn, anon. I'm sorry, I draw the line at blatantly fucked up shit.
>>34537210>Never heard of it. Is this a UK only site? From Wikipedia: >The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) is a registered charity based in Cambridge, England. It states that its remit is "to minimise the availability of online sexual abuse content, specifically child sexual abuse images and videos hosted anywhere in the world and non-photographic child sexual abuse images hosted in the UK."
>>34537134Yikes. Probably the X moderators like it.
>>34537134x/twitter/tumblr/discord have always had problems with that shitfrom my experience years before elon - those accounts did get closed eventually and you should get a notification about ityou should still report it - like other anons have said you could also use external services against csam
>>34537134Just send in an FBI tip and move on
>>34537134I've had a similar experience, no nothing illegal. There's kids on social media all the time now, accounts apparently managed by mommy. But these kids are sometimes doing shit that is way too suggestive and if I feel it's fucked up, then it's fucked up. I report it and get the same message every time."we looked into your report and nothings wrong"I think these Assholes are allowing it. I don't know why, it's absurd. You could easily block it all, but they don't. It has to be deliberate, but why?Either it's cos these companies are so damn greedy they'll allow ANYTHING for a penny, or maybe it's foreign state actors trying to subvert our society. Maybe these companies are trying to make the population so broken that they'll accept anything, including slavery. Idk. But I know it's not an accident.
>>34537134>Then I looked at some of the hashtags associated with it (that I won't repeat here) and holy shit, there's a lot of illegal content on thereThey will just change the hashtags and nothing will happen to them. That's how it is. Also, don't save anything in your device, otherwise you'll be incriminated.
>>34537134Posters like you are so naive, sheltered, yet also paranoid at the same time. You see that others are posting illegal porn all over the internet and nobody does anything about it. But you are afraid someone is going to personally hunt you down for stumbling upon it. You think they'll go after you, even though they won't even go after them? There are small towns in eastern europe and india where they rent out small children's orifices to any perv with a buck, and it's a way of life.Advice: Welcome to earth. There is darkness here, accept it and move on.
>>34537134>Sighs >Farts>Pees a little>Charges sigma aura and goes Omega Ultra Saiyan 4>Puts on a fedora and sunglasses at night>The fart gets louder and echoes across time>Inhales and goes ahem>...here goes nothing!!!
>>34538975>>34537134This. It's best policy to, if you found it, report it and move on, don't get more involved with it. There is no such thing as a CP indie vigilante whatever, anybody can justify you keep engaging with illegal content under the pretense of fighting it and people would believe it. Reporting to the NCMEC or that other site is enough. Mind you this is a thousand headed hydra, the people doing this have nothing to lose and live in shitholes with tangled justice systems, they can be as blatant as they will.
>>34537203Well I'm not seeing the tags anymore so I'm guessing this site work. Thanks for the recommendation.>>34538975>Also, don't save anything in your device, otherwise you'll be incriminated.Of course not. Hell, I've already cleared my history and was tempted to deactivate my account before I made this thread. >>34539189I get that this stuff exists, but I figured it's something you need to really dig for to find (torrents, dark web, etc.) and not just openly on a major social media platform where anyone can stumble on it.>>34539447>if you found it, report it and move on, don't get more involved with it.That's what I plan to do. Thanks /adv/.
