I need to post in rddit but I don't want to farm karma. Solutions?
And no, I can't post on 4chan instead, this is a very specific subrddit
>>
btw if anyone has an account and wants to post for me, I'm open to that

This type of shit is exactly why I hate Reddit and only occasionally lurk it if a topic I'm Googling about has answers on Reddit.

Reddit is basically either go with the crowd or die. Different subreddits have different vibes per se but even within' those different subreddits there are agreed upon views and people won't like you if you differ.

Also no room for nuance or middle ground. Things have to be either the best thing ever or the worst thing ever. If you say something "I agree with the general consensus that this movie is garbage, however there were a few parts about it that I did actually like" prepare for a thousand downvotes.

basically just comment before you end up making your own posts so you can get enough karma to do so and at least when starting out post exclusively uncontroversial stuff so your karma doesn't end up in the negatives
>>
>>34538325
I used to have an account with karma, but a mod confirmed somebody shadowbanned me without any explanation and that it was unfixable, so I'm not spending hundreds of hours farming karma and risking getting shadowbanned again

yikes. reddit sounds like a nightmare, like all the worst parts or irl.

Reddit might actually be my least favorite website of all time. Not saying all other websites are great or anything but they at least allow more unpopular opinions to be equally displayed. Reddit just hides unpopular opinions behind a bunch of downvotes.

Don't use reddit
>>
never have i ever felt as insecure on an online space as i did on reddit. if you disagree with the majority they act like you're some sort of monster who deserves to be killed. it doesn't even have to be anything big either. you can say you prefer white chocolate over dark chocolate and they act like you're endorsing child porn or some shit
>>
>>34538951
same. I don't like 4chan either but I have no alternatives
>>
>>34538983
yeah. it sucks. all the other shit such as instagram, twitter, facebook, the youtube comments, tiktok, etc all suck as well. a bunch of followers who believe everything they see even if proven false a thousand times. truly no alternatives left
>>

So basically humans as a whole suck. No surprise there. I found that out as early as kindergarten when I couldn't stand to be around the other kids.

I've tried to get into Reddit several times but just couldn't. Every time I go back to it I suddenly remember why I left and then go back to not using it

i've actually gotten perma banned on reddit many times across many vpns. i didn't even go out of my way to provoke people or anything like that it's just that i tried to add a nuanced view to things rather than just being all or nothing on things and redditors really really REALLY didn't like that. my karma score got in the very low negatives. they thought i was a troll just trying to be contrarian. not to mention the power tripping mods, taking any small thing you say and using it against you. as we speak if i go try to log in on reddit with a new account i'll get banned instantly
>>

Okay as much as I know Redditors can be assholes who won't accept anyone thinking differently than they do what they hell did you do to get "perma banned many times across many VPNs" and every time you log into a new account you get "banned instantly?" Like even for Reddit standards that just seems off.

Just to be clear are you referring to getting banned on some specific subreddits or the entire site as a whole? Because I know that for subreddits literally anyone can become a mod as long as they create their very own subreddit and it's not even very hard to do so if I remember correctly; and I know that a lot of mods are pieces of shit who go out of their way to ban people for the most stupid reasons.

However to be banned from the entire site it has to specifically be a Reddit admin who runs the site who does it. Kinda weird that an admin would ban you if you're acting as harmless as you say. Not unless people kept reporting you over and over again and the admins banned you just to shut people up or something like that.

i was banned from the entire site as a whole
>Not unless people kept reporting you over and over again and the admins banned you just to shut people up or something like that.
it's exactly this
>what they hell did you do to get "perma banned many times across many VPNs" and every time you log into a new account you get "banned instantly?"
literally just posting unpopular views. the most controversial things i said were that just because a white person called a black person the n-word or whatever doesn't give the black person the right to physically attack the white person over spoken words, that by being so offended over the n-word and turning it into a huge deal they're giving the n-word the power they don't want it to have. i also said that black people reclaiming the n-word is actually counterproductive because they're keeping the slur alive and well and allowing a certain group of people to say a word but not others is actually still racist
>>
>>34541489
Those are actually pretty reasonable views but unfortunately not conversations Reddit (or hell just the rest of the internet in general as a whole) is ready to have. I DON'T agree with them banning you but I can see WHY they banned you because people are really emotional over these topics and people are ultimately just gonna stick with what they believe even if your views make more sense than theirs.
>>
>>34541489
i mean it sounds like you were low-key trying to provoke people with those statements. no way you didn't know that those statements would cause people to react negatively
