i’ve known a guy from the gym for a few months and we talk every now and then, recently we talked about work and i told him i do some community manager stuff, today he called me saying he works in the “administrative area” of a company and they’re looking for people in advertising, but he also said i can manage my own schedule and make “2 to 3 million depending on how much i want to generate”, which already sounded weird, and now he wants to “interview” me on monday at a ypf gas station instead of an office, plus i once met a friend of his who sells water purifiers so now i’m thinking this might be some kind of sales/mlm thing, the guy seems normal and not sketchy at all but the whole situation feels off, am i being paranoid or is this obviously commission-based or something shady?
It's one of those MLM scams/cults where you'll be shilling crap in/outside of a store or going door to door shilling that same crap.
