how to stop music addiction? i waste a lot of time listenning to music and fantasizing about myself in silly situations which lead me to waste hours upon hours of my day on nothingness, i also think it kinda harms my mental health, my goal is to not listen to music for 100 days and ill keep you guys updated on my experience while doing it.
>>34540731Uh? Can't you listen to music and be productive?
What's wrong with listening to music? Do you just listen to music all day without doing anything else? If so, just try to limit the time listening to it, you don't have to stop entirely.
>>34540757>>34540775i am an actual addict with 5H per day music time, i srsly need to cut it out
There's nothing wrong with this unless you mean you do absolutely nothing except listening to music. >>34540797So you gotta find a way to balance listening to music and doing productive things. I'm an audio addict as well but I listen to music while working or doing chores or whatever.
>>34540797this is completely normal you dumb faggot... fuck off
>>34540731Same op except I have an addiction to breathing..... I hope we can get the help we need
there is no way you guys think 5H of music is normal
>>34541832Some people have music on the background for a long time but it's while they are doing something else. Other people have podcasts or whatever. In this day and age a lot of people have some kind of background noise. But for you it is an issue because it is distracting you and takes up all your attention, which is the difference. Not saying the other people aren't distracted, but you are past a certain point of distraction where it is seriously impacting your life.
>>34541861yes you get anon... i am like a fast food addict, yeah fast food is ok but i am past a certain point where it harmes me, i need abestainance
>>34541922Try doing a dopamine detox. Go outside with no headphones and just do stuff or whatever. Sit with your own thoughts for a while.
>>34541832lol if you're saying you actually sit down and listen to music (while doing nothing else, just listening) for 5+ hours daily, yeah sure that's kind of a problemotherwise, most people clock a lot more than 5 hours everyday via casually listening (i.e. when driving, taking the bus, studying, etc)
>>34541964yes thats what i am saying
>>34541937i dont need dopamije detox, i need MDD and Music addiction detox
>>34541973Well then stick with your plan of 100 days with no music. That sounds like a good idea. Good luck.
>>34541973what's mddalso it sounds like you have a plan. what's the point of this thread?
>>34542039i have an idea not a plan, also MDD = madaptive daydreaming
