Don't give up. I'm currently talking to another anon in a different thread about social life, making friends etc… loneliness sucks and in fact I'm thinking today it might be the single worst holding us retards back in life, but I seriously think you're better off trying to make friends irl. The one piece of advice I can give you from my limited experience is to immerse yourself in places where there are people, don't try to unnaturally latch on to individuals

Play games, specifically multiplayer games, specifically mmos. Get good at a class, join a decent guild (or work your way up to a decent guild) and befriend those people. You wont have to risk interacting with retards, because retards usually dont last long in environments like that since they have to spend time with eachother every week, sometimes multiple times a week.
