>Started (technical) college right after high school, (2022) chose Supply Chain as my specialty
>Started diploma "Global Supply Chain Management" (2022, still ongoing. No where near done. I have until 2027 to complete)
>Started certificate "International Trade and Transportation Logistics" (2023, ongoing, Close to completion but 1 course holding me back. I have until 2030 to complete)
>horrific at math. I have a mandatory Stats class to take, failed it ~3 times (even with tutoring, etc). Will likely fail all my programs because of it
>Work ethic is fine, but study skills aren't great (ever since HS)
>Parents' patience is wearing thin, want me out of the house

Not sure if I could turn my Stats class (I'm currently in progress doing) around. Likely I'd fail my program, and life would have to move on regardless. Should I cut my losses and move on?

-Applying to jobs, any one is fine (But I've never had one yet)
-Military (maybe the same specialty), to gain experience and get out

you got a degree between your legs. help your stats professor lighten his load and walk away with an easy A
>>
op should focus on getting a good man and making well educated, well fed, well parented children and not studying nonsense in order to get a spot at a jewish daycare center for adults (so called "job")

as long as your body is still tight youve got good chances for the abovementioned, ez life on ez mode. dont overcomplicate it.

How long have you been in school? Have you been working towards a degree at uni, or is this a diploma program at a college?
Also how do you approach studying, how many hours per a week and where?
Also how interested would you say you are in your current program, it's future prospects?

>How long have you been in school
~4 years unfortunately, applied on my last year of HS
It's a diploma program at the college. I've switched to part time (in my year 1) since I underestimated the courseload (~9 courses in 1 semester)
>Also how do you approach studying, how many hours per a week and where?
Math I struggle (since I had to re-learn the fundamentals after not practicing for so long), but every other course is fine, I just start it (ideally) on the same day and absorb/recall the best I can. I don't really count, but around 5-7 hours per day (best case). Location is a short bike ride to a small, silent rec-center/museum

(since I forgot to add)
>how interested would you say you are in your current program, it's future prospects
I suppose it's a consequence of my lack of scope/vision all throughout my younger years. (I wish I had a goal/drive like some people I knew of) I do know it has some good pay/opportunities, but overall it wasn't entirely my choice. I do understand the baseline of it however

People study 5-7 hours a day for a global supply chain diploma and still fail?

Seems like a hellish way to live. I swear STEM students don't study that much. I am not sure there is much more than what you are doing OP, but I would stick it out and finish the diploma if this is the level of effort you are putting in. Your parents should respect this, at least until like 25.

If worst comes to worst and you move out and get a job, you will be fine.

Are you white or brown? I know this may sound like an asshole move, but the advice I give will depend on that.

>Military
Are you sure you are cut for it?

>Military
Any interviews?

White
>Military
I've been active a lot, so I'm sure I'd do fine. Submit my application recently, but it would take a while for it to be processed

Well, in Canada, does the military offers a better prospect than the private sector? Are there higher salaries? Is the pension good?

>White
I was going to suggest you to apply to those affirmative job posts. You can still do it since you are a woman. I disagree with their existence, but since they exist, you should use them anyway.

I think that either way you'll do good. The military is cool but I have a certain prejudice with women from the military, just like I have for nurses, they're usually the opposite of prude... I think you should always go to the private sector if you can, but idk, the job market is not doing good, I think that at least doing a public job you can have some job security
