Is it okay to go through your partner's phone?
>>34545134it often backfires
i watched a video where they went through his phone and he was snapchatting and texting with four different girls and flirting with them all and sexting with some too
>>34545134Not without permission.
>>34545134Not without consent. Smartphone is an extension of a person’s self. Snooping is like stalking.
>>34545134Generally no, if you've reached that point its better just to break up
>>34545134Generally no.If you're mistrustful enough to need proof of innocence, the relationship is already very shaky, but it *might* help if you saw your partner in what appeared to be a very suspicious circumstance (and they were willing to show you to prove it just looked bad, but was actually innocent). That's the only semi-common case I can think of where it would help. Otherwise you're demonstrating a lack of trust, which will hurt anyone honest, or you're hurting yourself by looking for proof of something dealbreaking which you're already sure of (and could therefore break up over without bothering to look).
nothing to hide nothing to fear :^)
>>34545134Only if you like being single
>gf goes through my phone>expecting evidence of cheat, saved pictures of ex>finds 4 shitty saved 4chan memes, a picture of a bird, ignored texts from strangers and mom>"How could you be like this!!"
>>34545134only if you are married since you are one flesh
>>34545782Being married doesn't mean you can't have your own life.
Take this normie shit back to twitter
If you ask to do so and you receive permission then yes. If you don't ask, or you ask and don't receive permission, then it is not okay.Ask yourself how you'd feel if your partner went through your phone, your computer, your browsing history, without asking you, and then made judgments about you without understanding any of the context you'd like to provide.
>>34545134Unpopular opinion if you trust somebody to the point of just allowing for the possibility of them going through your phone your deserve anything that happens to you
Trust but verify.
>>34545134Don't snoop if you're not going to be able to handle what you might find
>>34545134Sure. Unless you're stealing passwords, photos or something else. Looking is fine.
I gave her my phone code first so she could snoop whenever. Then I snoop on her afterwards.
>>34545134Only if they say so. But everyone is entitled to an amount of privacy.
