"weird" just means different from normal, autism means you have an atypical brain so obviously your behaviour will be "weird".
We lack an intuitive problem solving ability neurotypicals have. If we ask people enough times, we get it eventually, but if not we kind of have to do stupid things to know this ability. The autistic brain treats everything in a yes or no way, but in reality it is more fluid.

Had autistic people had that ability life would have swung a completely different trajectory for them. All those moments they would have been able to get would have happened had they gotten that intuition.
