the person who is stalking me is looking through my socials for anything new. i have blocked their accounts, but they just look on another account i'm not aware of. it feels like blocking doesn't even work. and sometimes if i block them they will take it as the slightest bit of attention and harass me over it.

mmm, physical violence? I am being serious, people think they can get away with things online but if you run in to them assuming this person is some one you know IRL beat them up or if this is too much call pizza delivery on their address and put something in the delivery note that is a wink saying you did it. I don't really know what type of person you're dealing with but if you want them to stop scaring them seems like the thing to do or annoying them to the point where they will stop like send Jehovas witnesses to their house or write their phone number on craigslist sex ads remember you only lower yourself to their level because they started it.

Phones are computers and they're in everyones pocket and they have a microphone and camera and actually are fairly easy to hack. I don't want to sound like a schizo but this type of thing does actually happen. Back in the old days before smartphones people would actually plug out their usb mic and camera when not in use. With a phone you can't even do that.

oh he used to be friends with me and my friends BUT in february he broke up with one of my friends. and NOW he has been giving us PETTY BREAKUP DRAMA for MONTHS. Like give me a break of this guy...

1. i USED to have public posts which he could see. now, he cannot see my posts because i have deleted/privated my accounts on platforms. he is also stalking my friends' public accounts
2. he has harassed me and my friends by block evading us, what he said is like insults or calling us cowards for not wanting to participate in his drama

You're right, there's nothing I can do about the stalker's behaviour and at best I can just ignore him. Wasting money on the stalker is immature (it would also just bring me down to his level) and I could use it for other means, like college, housing, etc.

I'm not sure at this point, I just really want this guy to stop harassing me and my friends and trying to get us to participate in his breakup drama. I just wanna know how to deal with it, if I can't make him stop. Also, I just turned 18 this April.

If he becomes an actual danger to you or your friends IRL, you can get his details off whichever friend was dating him and you or your friends can take a restraining order against him

Blocking doesn't work, but you could make a new account. Just give it a different name, tell your trusted friends and don't post your face on it. They probably won't find it.
