There's something wrong with my bottom right molars. Since last week I've been experiencing pain when chewing or otherwise applying pressure to that area, though no pain otherwise. Tonight, I couldn't even floss on either side of one of the molars - trying to stick the floss in caused excruciating pain. And now an hour later I'm still feeling some slight pain from that.I have dentist appointment on Friday and I'm worried about what the damage will be. Does this sound like an infection or abscess situation? I don't know if I can afford root canals.
>>34551416Vitamins D3+K2 for tooth repair and maintenance. Chlorine dioxide mouth wash for miracle healing. All you really need.
Never root canal dead teeth because they will attract parasites. Dead things don't belong in the body. Needs to be removed. You can have the hole bone grafted with synthetic graft after its pulled to prevent oral structure from deforming overtime.
>>34551416There's no way to tell without Xrays. Most dentists will set up a monthly payment plan if you can't pay in full
>>34551416Reversible pulpitis is my guess, if there's nothing visibly wrong with your gingiva around the teeth. Treatment depends on the severity. Please, for the love of fuck, do not listen to anyone here over your dentist. I rejected a root canal because I believed a schizo I know IRL who said something like >>34551423. Ignoring the issue caused the pulp to die, become necrotic, and the gas produced by the rotting tooth meat to put so much pressure on my alveolar nerve that I couldn't eat or sleep for a week. I have never experienced pain even 1/4 as strong as that in my life. Constant, endless, burning agony like someone was forcing a hot poker into my mouth. Plus I now have a crackhead gap in my teeth because I rejected the root canal and the tooth became impossible to save in any way.
>>34552249True, never ignore dead things in body. The vitamins and ClO2 are not necromancy potions, get the dead teeth pulled. They are to instead ensure alive teeth stay alive, gum line does not recede and a whole of other things.
>>34551416>didnt say the pain is deepmight just have inflammation from something stuck in your gum - try blasting it with water and then find the object with a toothpickif it hurts down in your jaw - dentist>>34552249>dont get a root canaldoesn't mean ignore it, dumbassget it pulled like the poorfag you are, or pay up for an implantroot canal is just a filling that goes all the way down - bound to fail eventually
Thanks for the responses. I'm hoping it's not gonna necessitate root canal or extraction since the pain isn't constant but the fact that it progressed (from being able to floss in that area to not due to pain) fast worries me. Also I have an 8 day long trip coming up in a few days, so if there is a big problem I can't just come back to the dentist next week. But I don't think it would be wise to leave this for another couple weeks. Fucking hell why does this type of thing always has to happen at the worst times
