Im not long out of a relationship after being broken up with, since then ive built up my confidence and am receiving a lot more attention from people, but it makes me wonder if im a bad person, because, i know im not ready for another commitment, but im absolutely adoring the attention so i feed into it so i can get more

Nah, dog. Centering external validation sucks shit. Don't stay in that spot for too long. I understand that it can be vindicating in some way, but the shitty feedback loops are just not worth indulging in. Fuck empty relationships with strangers. Justifying and rationalizing won't spare you.
