That's a Marsh Rabbit. They swim only if it's absolutely necessary. They don't enjoy it sadly.

Also some trivia: as far as I know, rabbits do not even take baths inside water to clean themselves and it may harm them if you submerge them into water under normal circumstances. Instead, they lick their own fur for bath, just like cats.

If somehow the bun gets dirty bathing is literally the last thing on the list. A damped cloth is preferred for cleaning instead. But if bath is somewhat inevitable, it is advised to keep a warm level at their feet level for showering.

Sounds like a skill issue. Both of mine follow verbal commands like responding to their name, stay, and beg.
>t. I have had everything you have had except a donkey and horse, and I have also had various fish and turtles
You sound like an absolute shit pet keeper and a retard.
>hurrr hit pet
I have literally never had to hit any pet, including dogs or cats, in order to train them. Do you hit your hamsters too? lmao how did that go?
>>
>>5052103
Depends. There is definitely individual personalities that override any generalizations, however in general larger breeds are more chill than smaller ones. A big factor is early socialization. If a rabbit is raised to be used to chilling on your lap, it will be. If you neglect your rabbit until it's fully grown and then one day decide you want it to chill on your lap... it's very likely not going to.
>>
my bunny is really old, over 13 years and he has always been such a good boy and extremely tidy, he lives free in the house of course
but recently he stopped going to the potty, so there's piss everywhere
is it even possible to potty train him again and how should i do that? or is it over and i just let him pee anywhere?

>>
>>5052487
Now, I don't know anything about bunnies, but are you sure it isn't because he's sick, or have problems with his kidneys or something like that. Kidney/Bladder issues isn't uncommon for bunnies, right?
>>
>>5052487
Does he have trouble getting around? You can try a litterbox for elderly cats, see if that will capture his interest
>>
>>5053146
it’s not unusual but i have taken care of him autistically and some illness came to mind, so i checked his teeth and they were in great shape and his bladder works normally (shit coming out as usual and they look like perfect little marbles which is as it should be)
>>5053414
no trouble getting around he’s just quite tired but today after i put him in the litterbox myself he stayed there for a while and later went there by himself again so i hope he’s getting it now again
he could be just so old that he simply doesn’t remember or want to go into the litterbox
i will be getting that old folk litterbox for sure, thanks for the tip

believe it or not basically every mammal is conscious and can learn to control their base urges through social hierarchy or a reward/punishment system

except for pitbulls and those extremely retarded people who suffer from cute aggression
>>
>>5031333
Good, honestly the friendliest breed that my wife and I have raised so far. Their temper is very laid back especially as they get older, and dont fuss as much as other breeds at all about being handled. On the downside they are prone to certain eye conditions and may have a bit more mobility issues later in life, so only raise if you plan to give them a big enclosure or even free roam. Also, do not mistake their adult laziness with wanting to be isolated. Do often repay their calmness with attention. If you can do that, they are the sweetest companions
