That kitchen looks American af
Automatic drip coffeemakers, while not unknown in Russia, wouldn't be a thing in places where polar bears live. Most inhabitants in those areas are indigenous asiatic people like the Chukchi and Nenets. People in those areas, indigenous and russki alike, tend to prefer instant coffee, cezve stuff or just have tea instead.
I'm pretty sure that's in the US or Canuckistan.
>>
>>5051474
Upon further scrutiny: dishwasher. Yeah. That's North America. Even in remote-ass places in NA, a dishwasher wouldn't feel out of place. In Russia? Yeah, nah. Even in cities, they're extremely uncommon. That video is 100% from the New World
>>
>>5051467
It's just a skylight but it's also ventilation if you get snowed in.
Why I'm guessing they're not shooting it because they don't want it die on their roof or get itself wedged into that hole. They weigh about 1000 lbs having that just sitting in one spot on your roof plus the weight of all the snow could probably fuck your roof.

Would you want to have to scrub bear blood and brains up from your kitchen and then have to go outside and haul its corpse off the roof? With the possibility that there's another bear or two out there? Fuck that, I'd much rather hang back and hope it gives up and goes away, and only shoot if it looks like I have to.
>>
>>5051562
I'd want to survive. If there's a 500 kg murder machine trying to gain access to my house, I'll shoot while it's stuck in the ceiling and an easy target and not after it's already inside and moving. I'll handle the cleaning later. Even if it decides to leave, it knows now that there's tasty humans inside that house and will keep coming back. You could never go outside safely again.

There are breeds of horsey equines that look absolutely fine at that size. They're just called minihorses. They're not ponies. Ponies are a separate breed of horse, created by breeding /for/ genetic deformities rather than not. Minihorses are just bred to be small without deformities. Think of them like the difference between a giant schnauzer, a regular one and miniature. They're all technically the same breed. They started from standard schnauzers which were then bred down and up to create dramatic size variations.

What can an elephant actually do though? If you hug its hind legs it can't reach you with its truck, and its too sluggish to get away while you repeatedly pommel it from behind. If you stand to the side of its hind legs then it won't even be able to hit you with a back kick. If it raises its leg to perform a stomp then all you have to do is back off until it finishes its slam, then move back in to continue punching.

This is almost surely on a ship in the Arctic. It's one of the few places where even uber-nogun nations will let you carry a rifle to protect yourself. Some even require it. You can see the size of the head on that fucker. If he wants to eat you, and you don't have a gun, you are 100% dead 100% of the time. Polar Bears are the only know bear species to actively hunt humans too. We're just skinny land seals to them.

Fun Fact: the word "Arctic" means "land of the bears"(arctus), while the "Antarctic" is the "land without bears".

Bear Rules: If it's Black, fight back. If it's Brown, lay down. If it's White, good night.

I'm not an anti cat fag but with stuff like this I wonder if they're really trying to save whoever is getting mauled or if it's just a teritorial thing. Same with the vid of the kid who is getting attacked by a dog where the cat jumps in to rescue
>>
>>5052259
It is. It’s a super simple instinct.

If it hunts in their territory it gets attacked. So it attacks both the cat (a hunter) and the dog (for hunting the cat).

Cats are reasonable beings. Not navel gazing midwits or jesus freaks. They just do what they gotta do and never fuck it up.

I like this one better, but I think the other one won the prize of wild life photography of the year because it looks like those old timey pics of families in their homes.
Drones are the way to take pictures of large predators, no doubt, not only is the photographer safe, the noise also grabs their attention and makes them look straight into the camera, without spooking them.
