I found some isopods and tiny centipedes living in my new potted plant, which is really cool, but should I be worried about them leaving the pot and becoming some kind of pest in my dorm?
Nah you'll be fine, they need really really specific condition to live in. But if you're a filthy mf then yeah, be worried.
>>5053667They wonβt become a pest. You should put them in a proper set up and get them to breed
>>5053667Monolobite...
unless you have damp soil and rotting wood in the rest of your apartment isopods won't do shit
>>5053667My dad saw some in the garden and thought they were aphids.
>>5053667If wet soil dwelling detritivores can establish themselves in your home, you have far bigger problems than some tiny crabs running around.
Nah give them a bit of rotten bark or pumpkin stem and they'll move in. Scuttling hither and tither. More tither than hither usually.
>>5053667Most bugs cannot live in house humidity for more than a few days.they lose constant moisture through their mechanical exoskeleton. even if they survive they couldn't thrive.
