A rare spot-less giraffe has been born at a Tennessee zoo. Your thoughts?

>>5055272>>5055273Baked to perfection
>>5055272Is this the second one to be found? It looks cute anyway, gives an Ice age critter vibe
>>5055272>>5055277So these guys born in the wild don't make it for camafloge reasons?
>>5055281what the fuck do these guys need camo for anyways? I thought the only thing they are threatened by is lions if they bend down for drinking
>>5055285They aren't born being 20 feet tall
>>5055272they are all born this way i just havent painted it yet
>spots stolenCan't have shit in Tennessee
At least it's relatively safe at the zoo. In the wild it would have gotten pouched within 24h to be ground into penis enlargement pills.
Is this in the Chattanooga zoo? They only got giraffes a couple years ago, very cool. Maybe they'll get more funding in order to fix up more of their enclosures... Last time I was there they had several that were semi-permanently closed. It sucked not being able to see the red pandas OR the gibbons.
>>5055272Looks like a very long deer.
if this story had come from china we would've learned later that it was a horse that they did neck stretching experiments on
>>5055285They're not invincible. They're stupid, flighty herd animals just like a horse or deer. Lions absolutely can kill them.
>>5055272Would ride 10/10
>>5055272Brown animals are cute, but obviously still no where near as beautiful as the White spirit giraffes occasionally found in the wild.
>>5055796Look at their bone structure. It would not be pleasant for you, unfortunately.
>>5055272I am placing bets on inbreeding. Whenever "x" new animal variation is "discovered" at a zoo it is usually down to heavy inbreeding.
>>5055272>>5055277>spot-less
>>5055868Other examples?
>>5055886Just about any large feline in zoo captivity are a good examples. Whites and stripeless tigers were even marketed as their own endangered species for a time to attract more visitors to Zoos.
>>5055868Colour mutations generally aren’t produced by inbreeding, they’re propagated through it. If it’s a one off like this it’s not necessarily inbred but if it becomes common like white tigers being mass produced then it usually is
>>5055893Proving once again that absolutely everyone "prefers" White ;)
>>5055272looks tasty
>>5055272This could be a response to captive breeding. The spots do a little bit for herd camouflage and cooling.Being quasi-domesticated in zoos would mean that the cooling factors aren't as necessary and there is virtually no predation. We're probably altering the species beyond it's normal function by trying to preserve it.
>>5055272Holy shit a Qilin
>>5056329Doubtful. This variation can occur in the wild, too.
>>5055773>Looks like a very long deerthis
>>5055272Cute
>>5055272>>5055273Am I wrong for liking the solid coloration better?
>>5058986I'm heavily reminded of the GOAT
