I'm in Fiji atm. My son found this in the ocean. Looks like a tooth but could be a shell or coral. Any ideas?

pictures of the roots/top would be required for more accurate id but off the top of my head it looks like maybe a seal or sea lion tooth. How long is it?

Almost looks like an Asian water monitor tooth.
Could very easily be a fish tooth of some kind though.
