some cats are untrained and shit in laundry hampers. or worse. mine, personally, have consistently done this after they turn 14 and develop some amount of arthritis and got worse on any meds (cats do NOT like NSAIDs). meanwhile all of the dogs had zero problems. some spay incontinence here and there, but it's curable with estriol supplementation.

the vast majority of cat owners do not just do the same (resulting in ruined outdoor furniture, ruined parked cars, and turds everywhere), but throw a fit when someone or something puts a stop to it as if killing a cat is tantamount to killing a child, and claim their roaming vermin is somehow helping the world despite all of the evidence to the contrary, including hard scientific evidence cats actually boost mouse and rat populations by killing off animals that are not adapted to their presence, which mice and rats are very well adapted to, to the point that cats only eat them when they're babies, already dying or toxo-brained.
