Why does nobody ever hype up the Golden Eagle while we hype up apex predator animals like the Tiger?

>perfectly stealthy, top speeds can fly around as fast as a bullet, can see and detect prey miles with its telescopic vision and has reflexes while flying that can make it able to swiftly dodge through tons of small openings in impossibly dense forestry at over 100mph.

>4 foot tall heavy af behemoth with razor sharp claws that are as big as the average human male dick size

>literally hunts and carries away prey as big as wolves and mountain lions
>>
>>5062779
>why do mammals think other mammals are much cooler than feathershits that weigh less than 20 lbs and crash into windows
>>
>>5062779
Nah, I'm constantly talking up my big bird chad, the golden eagle. I would like one as a pet.
No one IRL gives a shit tho
>>
>>5062779
Its a lightweight incel that needs surprise hit and runs to compete and still gets mogged by a 12 year old with a baseball bat

Meh animal.
>>
>>5062825
20 pounds but also travels like more than 150 mph tops and attacks by smashing into things with 5 inch long blades at those top speed transfering all of that force. Also can fly through dense forestry like a spy dodging alarm lasers at over 100mph and can see miles into the distance flawlessly.

What do you mean, eagles could be considered the most glazed apex predator in human history. For thousands of years countless coat of arms display fucking eagles
>>
>>5062779
because its not a harpy eagle or a wedge tail, or a condor

They just aren't impressive to most people. There's no visible musculature, the shape really is gangly, they make high pitched girly noises, are flimsily built and weak, and are not a real threat to any human.

They're very based IRL, and are the model for "The Eagle" throughout all of the Eurasian Antiquity, but they have a bit of a bland paint job compared to other birbs of pray. Bald "eagles" aren't even true eagles and are kinda dumb, but they look majestic af, so more people think they're cool.

Check out @BenWoodruffFalconry on YT. He makes tons of cool vids on birb of pray and falconry writ large. It's genuinely fascinating stuff that has been practiced in the Old World for thousands of years, but was not known to be practiced in the New World at all, even though we know they kept them as pets.

>There are something like 60 species of Eagles while there are only nine species of Big Cats.
>A Tiger is something you can only see in a zoo while you can see Golden Eagles in the wild quite frequently if you live in their range.
>Tigers are well known for killing and eating people while Golden Eagles are commonly used in falconry.
>Tigers have a unique and instantly recognizeable stripe pattern while Golden Eagles are solid brown.
From the perspective of the average person, Tigers are just more cool than Golden Eagles.

>12 species of canid are known to have been hunted by golden eagles and they collectively make up about 2.8% of the diet from all surveyed golden eagle nests. For the most part, foxes are the preferred prey. In a nest in Mongolia, Corsac fox (Vulpes corsac) were surprisingly the main prey species, making up 38% of sampled remains. Kit fox (Vulpes macrotis), swift fox (Vulpes velox), gray fox (Urocyon cinereoargenteus) and island fox (Urocyon littoralis) are readily predated in North America. Red foxes make up 13.5% of nest remains in Sicily and 5.9% in the Republic of Macedonia. Among red foxes, juveniles are usually targeted as prey, though golden eagles can kill foxes of any age or condition, including adult male red foxes heavier than the eagles themselves. Occasionally, even coyotes, including healthy adult males, can be successfully killed by golden eagles.
