Pitbulls don't deserve the bad reputation /an/ gives them. They're probably some of the sweetest dogs I work with, but no one who comes to the shelter ever wants one due to fearmongering.

The groups used to use a lot weird imagery in past involving child and german shepard sacrifice, and their current no-kill shelters they have managed to get contracts to run are known for keeping pitbulls (and recommending them to families with young children) while diverting other kinds of dogs into other kill shelters.
