As someone who's more or less on the opposite end of that spectrum, let's just say that we also have a certain kind of coded language, and tend to sound fucking smooth, on the phone especially. I suppose the worst practical disadvantage of high-functioning autism is the difficulty of weighing the veracity of sources, in reviews. journalism, politics, or most of all, persons.
