My aunt's cat was super high strung and fearful all the time. Now she (the cat) gets actual THC. A very low amount mixed into a treat (basically a cat edible) to calm her nerves. That being said, don't give THC or marijuana to your cat unless your vet gives you the okay and specifies a specific amount for a condition like my aunt's cat. My 8 month old kitten Máni died on Friday. He had a congenital heart disease called Dilated Cardiomyopathy. He got sick one day out of the blue and then passed a few days later after an ultrasound and the vet telling us there was nothing that could be done to save him. i have an 11 year old semi-feral cat who lives on my porch, he's lived on my porch his whole lifein the winter it gets down to -5 C (23 F) to 0 Celsius, sometimes colder.he's lived in a box i made that's semi-insulated, and sleeps on a heated pad in there. a few years ago i installed a 250 watt heater to keep the temperature in the box above 10 C (50 F)since he's getting older, i want to take the bite out of the air, and heat his box to around 18-21 C (65-70 F). i just got him a new 600 watt heater, which can easily get it this hot so far.are there any downsides to this though? he's a short hair cat but he gets pretty thick fur.will he find it too hot? will this cause his winter coat to fall off?

Cats understand violence since it's how they communicate with each other if one cat does something the other doesn't like. I'm sure he got the message that randomly biting people is unacceptable.

I have a new friend who’s been through very tough times before moving in. He’s got a very unfortunate combo of being deaf and probably siamese and in pain. Anything I can do to reduce the crying at night? He was good the first few days but tonight he’s just been losing it and I’m not sure what to do. hi everyone, i brought a kitten in from outside. it spent several nights in a row mewing outside my window so i began leaving food out. during one of the times i went out i saw it running around in the busy street. there was really heavy rain the other night too so i felt like i had to bring this cat in at the first opportunity. i’m suddenly worried it’s too young and didn’t finish weaning off its mother. does anyone have suggestions on how to tell if it needs formula? it already ate some solid food (both wet and dry) but hasn’t eaten since in probably 12 hours. i’ll call to make a vet appointment once they open (soon) they just might not have appointments until later this week
