I have never known a completely healthy purebred german shepherd. They often have to be fed limited ingredient raw diets because their weakened constitution cant handle the toxic load of kibble and they are sensitive to random ingredients. Common drugs kill them. They are often inherently neurotic and have their good moments cherry picked for social media. And there is still always at least one thing wrong with them that the owner is constantly fighting like an overly oily or mat prone coat and several systemic things like minor deformities (uncontrollable drool leakage, weeping droopy eyes). General GSD owner cope is "every dog needs all this extra care". Very little of this is present in german shepherd mixes and second/third generation mutts. For a german shepherd to merely have a few minor deformities that make them a bit ugly and predispose them to pain, it would be an extremely healthy example of the breed. Kennel clubs have been a disaster for the canine race. The BYB must not perish from the earth.

Hey, I've posted a few days ago in previous thread, asking for a dog breed that's good for allergic people and is smart and active (can do jogging, hiking, etc). I want to thank everyone for their suggestions. After searching suggested breeds, I came to a conclusion that poodle fits the bill the most. I decided to get a standard (big) female. Breeder also does "puppy streams" but they just randomly run around. Should I take the more playful puppy or a calmer one? The one that has higher food drive or lower? Is there anything I need to research before getting this specific puppy from this specific breeder?

I think I didn't full if enough, which is when you tightly roll it up and then massage it back and forth. I've seen videos where people step on the roll to apply pressure and I just used hands+body weight. I also think I got the hair too wet at the beginning.
