I’m looking for some advice about taking my dog on a flight. I live in Canada and I plan on flying from one end of the country to another to go back home for Christmas. My dog will just be over 1 year old, and weighs around 55-60lbs. I’ve taken her with me before during the late summer, and she was fine. However, since it’s winter time, when I called the airline to book the space for her, they told me that they could take her, but the luggage area that she would be in would be around 0 Celsius for the majority of the flight. The first leg of the flight will be about 2.5 hours, and the second will be 5-6 hours. Do you think she would be okay to be subjected to that temperate for that long? I could buy a jacket or put a bunch of wool blankets in her carrier to keep her warm. I really want to bring her with me, but I’m not sure if she’ll be okay with those temperatures. She’s never shown any issues with being cold, and she loves to roll and play around in the snow for long periods of time. Any advice would be appreciated! Picture of my dog as tribute.
Airlines kill dogs in cargo and cut you a check and a thinly veiled legal threat if you complainThis is why fake service dogs exist. And yet they will gladly seat actual people next to hollering baboons that smell like the perfume section at walmart with a sharp hint of shart, better known as americans
