Ive had at times 4 feeders up, spaced out about 10' apart, and yet only one hummingbird will dominate all of them from morning to night. He'll spend the entire day just guarding the feeders, perched 50' away making his squeaking noises, and will come in like a bullet to chase off others that get close. The only time there wasnt any territorial guarding was a rare occasion it snowed and they seemed to hold a truce since it was too cold for their aerial battles (when that happened I had 12-14 all taking turns at just 2 feeders).
we just get the ruby throated hummingcucks. stop hoarding them hummers
