Any dog or vet bros able to give guidance?I’ve got a 2 year old Corgi, he’s had regular occurrences of liquid shit and vomiting the last couple months. I’ve taken him to the vets each time but we’re not really getting any progress on a diagnosis.Today he’s shitting like piss and throwing up straight after. But he seems to be ok in himself, he wants to walk, he has an appetite.The vet gave probiotic powder before and I swapped his food to hypo allergenic shit. I’ve monitored what he was eating, cutting everything out and slowly introducing little bits. He was okay for a few weeks but we’re back again and the vets are slow as shit.Anyone been through something similar with their dog?
I am going through something similar. my dog had diarrea with blood and mucus in it for 2 days (probably for 5 days and I didnt notice it due to the 3 days of heavy rain)brought him into the vet with a poop sample and they sent us home with the usual overpriced shit you can get online for 20% of what they charge. mostly fiber supplements. it was a saturday and didnt find out until Monday ( had to call them myself) that he tested positive for whipworm.Gave him Drontal plus, weeks later he didnt improve and I noticed he had like a wound on his ass and now he would also get constipated so I brought him back in. was told it was just an abrassion on his ass probably from scooting.sent me home with more overpriced shit, this time the fucking fiber supplement and that garbage prescription food backed him up so he didnt shit for 48 hours of struggling and started throwing up. I saved his life by giving him only bone broth with miralax and he finally passed the massive turd. I am fucking pissed and worried they did internal damage with that bullshit. I am also starting to think that wound is a fistula. I also wonder if he ever had whipworms because he still has the same symptoms and after doing massive research on whipworms and resistant whipworms I dewormed him with 200 mcg/kg of Ivermectin, Fenbendozole, and Milbemyin Oxime. No whipworms would survive that shit.I got him an apointment with a team of internists at an emergency vet hospital but we still got one more week to go.I havent slept a full continuous night for two months.

Bro i am physician. In young humans with chronic diahrrea you first think in parasites. You can give him Albendazole + Praziquantel If he keeps shitting like that is necesary a colonoscopy. Sorry for my english im from brazil

>>5082223it was fistulas. got prescribed cyclosporine and a list of hydrolized or novel protein foods to choose from.the internist was awesome. knew his shit, knew how to interact with my distrustful dog. didnt order any unnecessary tests. we were sent to him for a colonoscopy and he told me, yeah I could sedate your dog and run a bunch of tests for the next couple of hours but thats not gonna do anything for those fistulas and the preferred treatment isnt cheap so save your money for the medication.what killed me was when I originally brought my dog into VCA to get checked, the vet slid his finger into my dogs ass and my dog just kida went "hmmph" and the VCA guy didnt feel anythig abnormal.today at the specialist, my dog fucking screamed and hollared. it broke my heart. the guy said he could feel it was all inflamed.my dog would probably be 100% back to normal today if he had been properly diagnosed at VCA. now its progressed and I have to worry about strictures.
