There’s just something about huge arthropods (insects, arachnids, crustaceans, etc.) that feels fundamentally “correct” and good. Their existence is inherently right; I’m glad they exist. They are the organismic archetype, biologically perfection incarnate.
yeah they look cool
>>5083579Yeah they based. The more they kill dingoes the more based
>>5083579>giant enemy crab
They like to eat boobies
>>5083579you understand that you're schizophrenic, right?that "feel" is schizophrenia
>>5083637>t. shrimp
How do these large land crabs breathe? No seriously. Book lungs?

>>5083579True.
>>5083579I feel you.
>>5083579They’re called “coconut” crabs because they’re hollow on the insideThey only weigh a few pounds each
i have never seen a video of them movie so I'll pretend they're fake because they scare me
Why arn't these fuckers pets yet? We've already done it to racoons.
>>5083918technicality endangered and hard to keep because theyre big, strong, and climb everything, they have the same requirements as hermit crab while being significantly easy to keep logistically and safer
>>5083926>tfw you will never have a tree garden for coconut crabs to climb and chill
>>5083927you could, but you just need a lot of land and a ceiling, because they will get out and break into everything they could like a raccoon
>>5083918Sadly their zoea stage needs to be in the ocean. You cant breed them in captivity. But who knows! Some years ago hermit crab couldn't breed in captivity and now its common!
>>5083991Also its not that you cant keep them. Is that is hard to do so (and maybe barely legal?). I follow on Twitter some Japanese guy that has like 3 or 4 and he regularly posts updates
>>5083991>You cant breed them in captivityPeople a while ago bred hermit crabs in captivity. It's expensive and a pain, but it can be done.

>>5083877But enough about you, chud.
>>5083579can't quite decide if this is autism or schizophrenia
>>5084617there's a lot of overlapthings evoking emotions could be synesthesia but I kinda suspect it's more disordered thought bordering on hallucinations.
>someone on /an/ likes animals? must be schizophrenic autism
