Why should we conserve animals that ruthlessly kill and eat other sentient animals? Why shouldn't we just exterminate them and make them go extinct? There's no "ecological benefit" to "duh ecosystem" keeping these animals around, the ecosystem will simply adapt in their absence and forget them entirely. There's no logical reason to allow lions and crocodiles to continue to breed to ruthlessly kill and devour baby monkeys and springboks other than entertainment. The real reason "conservationists" want these animals to be kept alive isn't because of "le love of nature", but just because they enjoy animals killing other animals and are thus deeply sick individuals. The world would be a better place if all predator animals except humans were domesticated or made extinct.
