Hey /an/I'm taking my dog to an emergency vet today because I couldn't get an appointment this week with his normal vet. I noticed this lump on his hind leg a couple days ago. I was waiting to see if it went down or something, but it hasn't. Anyone have any idea what this might be? It's not a dewclaw, the breeder had them removed; and it's too low on his leg. It doesn't seem to hurt. He hasn't changed his behavior or his appetite. He's still running around playing like normal.
How old is the dog? Skin cancers aren't uncommon in older dogs.
