It's actually shocking to me how little serious discussion there is about human hybrids

There were some fairly unserious experiments to create a chimp-human hybrid in the Soviet Union around the 1960s or something but nothing came of them.

Considering that it doesn't really seem hard to do (just let a chimp fuck your wet pussy) why have we never seen one yet?

Is there some biological reason why creating a human hybrid is difficult?
