how do cats "breathe" under water?
I seen her sleep fully submerged in a sink full of water for 10 hours without so much as a bubble coming up.
i thought if I accidentally startled her awake she might breathe in water on reflex but no.
So I guess they can sleep with very little oxygen and have special breath control or what?

Cats are fluids, so of course they can breath water.

This is a water anole, anolis aquaticus. They're made out of liquid metallic mercury, which is quite toxic to most animals but not these little guys.

They look like living tribe masks

>one image per animal
I'm posting thousands of modular animals in one image and there's just nothing you can do about that.

nature went "remember ankylosaurs? let's have another crack at those"
>>
>>5101249
It happened a third time with an Australian species of tortoise as well. Nature loves ankylosaurs for some reason.
