26 years ago when I was a little boy, my neighbor killed a horse.Her and my mom were close friends. My mom led me to the horse and it bit my hand. I was completely ok with it. There was no bleeding. I put my hand out with closed fingers.As far as I know, my parents neighbor, instructed someone to call the city or, unlikely called them herself, to report the horse for rabies. The horse was shot and there was no follow-up. I was then blamed for the death by my family.I know for a fact that my neighbor killed this horse because she didn’t like the sounds it made.Now she is joining animal welfare groups. I’m trying to figure out what to do. I believe she has no right.Any thoughts on what I could do?
